Entertaining, authentic, and down to earth, the Queen of Goat Yoga, Lainey Morse, has climbed to the top while introducing goat yoga to the world. Faced with an incurable autoimmune disease, divorce, and corporate downsizing, Lainey’s life spiraled downhill.  Even in her darkest moments Lainey knew she had to push convention aside to rebuild her life. 

Goats & Yoga?

True to her roots, Lainey drew from within, and using her grit, personal charm and corporate experience, she was inspired by her six adorable goats; goat yoga was born. There was no corporate roadmap. It was Lainey’s love for her goats, connection to the earth and passion for excitement that gave her inspiration and direction. Goat yoga went viral in 2016. 

Dreams and Hopes

Goat Yoga has intrigued the world and Lainey has appeared on CNN, NY Times, Time Magazine, NPR, BBC and hundreds of other media outlets.  “The Goat Yoga journey has had highs and lows, it has kept me awake many nights, but has also been extremely rewarding and beyond my wildest dreams and hopes”, says Lainey. 

The Balancing Act – Goats & Business

Since 2016 Original Goat Yoga has grown to ten satellite locations throughout the USA. Lainey wears many hats in the business, including hosting her famous location events. Google, Facebook, United Entertainment Artists are just a few of the well-known corporations that have hired Goat Yoga.

A Goatel?

2020 shut down the Goat Yoga locations, her business collapsed, and Lainey was forced to rethink her business model as many businesses have done. The Goatel was born. A goat-themed vacation destination that includes Goat Happy Hour. Everyone is wanting to get out, they want change. Goetel offers unique locations, loving therapy animals, in remote destinations. The first Goatel’s opened in 2021 in California and Texas and are sold out months in advance. Other state openings are planned with a vision for international expansion.
